The ETC HEC will announce the Law Admission Test LAT Result and Answer Key on 12 August 2024. Students may visit the HEC website https://www.hec.gov.pk to check their LAT Results and Answer Keys. In accordance with the directive, the HEC conducts the Law Admission Test (LAT) three times a year. It is a requirement to pass the LAT test to be admitted to any university for LLB programs. Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exam are eligible to take the LAT. Additionally, students who are awaiting their HSSC results, are also eligible to participate in the Law Admission Test.

HEC LAT Passing Marks
In order to pass the HEC LAT exam, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50%. Scoring at least 50 marks is essential for qualification for admission to LLB. The exam consists of a total of 100 marks, and students must pass with at least 50%. The test duration is 2 hours (120 minutes) unless an approved Reasonable Adjustments application for additional time is in place. The HEC LAT Test includes writing an essay, personal statement, and multiple-choice questions covering various subjects.

The HEC LAW Admission Test 2024 consisted of 10 numbered paragraphs and 75 multiple-choice questions. The questions were based on a statement that could be written in either English or Urdu and could not exceed 200 words in either language. Every student will receive fifteen essays from which they must select one. The chosen essay should be at least two hundred words long and can be written in either English or Urdu. Only candidates can get admission to the LLB five-year program will pass the LAT. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan will release the HEC LAT Results.
