The IBA entry test consists of 45 multiple-choice questions on mathematics (starting from page 9) with 80 minutes allowed. There is also one essay question with a time limit of 40 minutes. IBA Entry Test Passing Marks
The Aptitude Test is designed to assess candidates’ quantitative and analytical skills, logical reasoning, grammar, and suitability for the program. As the recruiters are responsible for conducting the aptitude test, they have the authority to establish a benchmark score or passing percentile for the candidates. There is no negative marking in the test, and IBA conducts the Aptitude Test only in Karachi. Overall, a minimum of 60% marks is necessary to pass the test. The math section in IBA is much more time-consuming and challenging, while the SAT math is basic and easy. On the other hand, English in the IBA test is very easy, whereas the English section in the SAT is challenging due to the limited time.
